Unfortunately, due to ever-increasing postage costs, we are no longer able to offer free shipping in Canada. However, we will still discount our shipping charges by 50%. This discount is reflected in the shipping cost options presented at checkout. We apologize for this.
Our 2025 submission window for poetry manuscripts is now closed. Thank you to the well over 100 authors who have sent us their collections for consideration. You have made our job very difficult, in a good way!
We will be reviewing the submissions over the next weeks, and will announce our selections when that process is complete.
New releases, available now.

Transcribing Moonlight, by Skylar Kay won the 2023 BPAA Robert Kroetsch Award for Poetry.
Congratulations to Skylar! Transcribing Moonlight is a collection of autobiographical haibun outlining a year in the life of a trans woman. The form of the journal itself is traditional for haibun; while experimental at times, the haibun pay attention to the physical world and are therefore able to capture the changing seasons, moons, and phases of the narrator’s life.
Rayanne Haines and Tyler Engström were shortlisted for the 2022 Stephan G. Stephansson Award for Poetry. Congratulations!

A Brush With Depth won the BPAA Book Illustration Award.
Congratulations to Rick Sealock! This book is an in depth retrospective of Rick’s work, and an irreverent and positive look at what it means to be an illustrator today. A must-read for all students of illustration. A must-read if you just like wacky-ness. And now a must-read if you like award-winning books!
Borderlands won the 2021 BPAA Regional Book of the Year Award. It was also was a finalist for the 2021 High Plains Book Award.
Congratulations to Mark Vitaris. This excellent book of black and white photography and insightful essays is most deserving of attention. Lisa Richter has won the National Jewish Book Awards Berru Award in Memory of Ruth and Bernie Weinflash.
Nautilus and Bone also won the 2021 Canadian Jewish Literary Award for Poetry, and the 2021 Robert Kroetsch Award for Poetry.
To quote editor Micheline Maylor, Nautilus & Bone (Quartet 2020), “… is an outstanding book, the writing is stunning and it is a true poets’ book for its ability in both form and narrative, and that is, although admittedly biased, absolutely accurate.”
